Purchasing items
Are there any items that are restricted or prohibited from purchasing?
Basetao does not facilitate the purchasing of knives, pure batteries, imitation brands, food, liquid, powder, chemical substances, flammable and explosive materials, as well as animal and plant specimens. Kindly ensure that none of these items are included in your order.
How long does it take to place an order?
When there are no issues or questions, orders will usually be placed within 24 hours.
I want to provide more detail on my order, how do I do that?
When placing your order, click on "make a notition" to add more information to your order.
I have a question about my order, how do I ask it?
You can leave a message on the item via the green text bubble to ask your agent any question you want.
Storage
How long can I store my items in the Basetao warehouse?
Basetao offers 180 days of free storage
Where can I find my Quality Control pictures?
Quality Control pictures are normally uploaded on the same day that the item arrived. When uploaded, you can view them by clicking on the image icon next to the item.
An item has arrived and received Quality Control pictures, but is still in the "Ordered" section, why is that?
Usually this means that the agent has found a flaw on your item. Be sure to check the messages and pictures. If there is nothing, feel free to leave a message to ask the agent to move it to the right category.

Basetao does not facilitate the shipping of knives, pure batteries, imitation brands, food, liquid, powder, chemical substances, flammable and explosive materials, as well as animal and plant specimens. Kindly ensure that none of these items are included in your order.
The weight on my parcel went up, why is that?
Some shipping lines work with Volumetric weight. When your parcel is packed, the longest sides are measured with a triangle ruler, and Volumetric Weight is calculated. The actual weight and Volumetric weight are compared, and the largest weight is used to determine the shipping costs.
