Volumetric Weight / Dimensional Weight

The cost of a shipment can be affected if the volumetric weight is more than the actual weight. This is also called as dimensional weight.

Dimensional Weight is calculated as Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 5000=Dimensional Weight (kg).This applies with most express couriers, like DHL ,Fedex,Aramex which use the greater of the actual or dimensional weight.

e.g. height:60cm x width:75cm x length:50cm: volumetric weight will be (60*75*50/5000)=45kg.

Friendly note:If your parcel has big size items , better not use DHL ,Fedex or Aramex to ship it .
